When I look down our street, people are only buying EVs (well a couple of hybrids) and everyone has is putting in solar panels (even the social housing has panels) and many people have added home batteries.

At this time of year, we “fill up” our third had Zoe overnight when electricity prices are 1/3 day time prices. Spring-summer-autumn we just fill up off our panels, so nothing off the grid.
