Phew!

All we had to worry about was brain damage from falling off a bike (a lad two streets away fell off his bike after going off the curb, hit his head, had to give up his place at Cambridge and is now dressed and fed by someone else), shooting through the window in a car accident, measles, mumps and rubella (which were common in my childhood).
